The State Tax Service has suspended control over the use of POS terminals, electronic wallets, and QR codes

This measure only concerns small and medium-sized businesses

The State Tax Service (GNS) has announced a temporary suspension of raid control and inspections regarding the use of payment systems for small and medium enterprises.

This moratorium will be in effect until December 31, 2026, and will affect those entrepreneurs operating under a simplified taxation system, based on a patent, or in specially designated trading zones.

However, inspections will not apply to businesses operating without tax registration or not paying taxes, as well as those that have received complaints or have been found to evade taxes, or are engaged in the trade of excise goods.

Despite the suspension of inspections, the tax service will continue to inform entrepreneurs about the rules for using POS terminals, electronic wallets, and QR codes.
