On December 31 of last year, the Call Center Kaktus.media received complaints from residents of the "Ak-Tilek-2" residential area.

“We live in conditions that can only be described as real filth. We don’t know where to turn to solve this problem. This area looks like a village, even though we are in Bishkek. There is no asphalt, and it is impossible to move around the streets due to constant mud and slush, especially after they laid the water pipes. The contractor clearly did not fulfill their obligations properly. Before their intervention, the situation was not ideal, but now it has become even worse,” they share.

After the publication of the material, the press service of the Bishkek mayor's office reported that the Department of Capital Construction had completed all work on water supply in "Ak-Tilek-2" according to the approved project.

“The work on restoring the road surface using a gravel-sand mixture has been completed on the specified streets,” the authorities clarified in their response. “The photographs that are being circulated are outdated and do not reflect the actual condition of the facilities after the work was completed.”
