The traceability system for goods will start operating on September 1, 2026.
The list includes the following goods:
- "household refrigerators and freezers" (12 codes of the EAEU Commodity Nomenclature),
- "washing machines, household or for laundries, including machines equipped with a spinning device" (6 codes of the EAEU Commodity Nomenclature),
- "receiving equipment for television communication, including or not including a broadcasting radio receiver or equipment for recording or reproducing sound or images" (16 codes of the EAEU Commodity Nomenclature).
"For consumers, this primarily guarantees the quality and safety of the purchased products. The system will effectively combat 'grey' products and strengthen the economic security of the entire Union.
We are starting with key categories of household appliances and plan to expand this list, making our common market even more civilized and predictable," commented the Minister of Economy and Financial Policy of the EEC, Bakyt Sultanov.
