According to the plans, the main stage of relocating the trading areas is scheduled for the summer of 2026, while the official opening of the new complex, located at the intersection of Fuchik Street and the Bypass Road, is planned for spring. Tumanbaev assured entrepreneurs that the old market will continue to operate as usual until the new site is fully ready. The authorities intend to make the transition process as convenient as possible to avoid social conflicts.
The president's chief of staff noted that the conditions at the new location will be significantly improved. All entrepreneurs will receive trading spaces with the same area, and priority will be given to those who are already working at the Osh market, while the remaining areas will be offered to other interested parties.
The issue of transportation accessibility has also been resolved: to ensure connectivity with the new trading hub, the city authorities have purchased 180 new buses. Tumanbaev assured that sellers and buyers will not face any problems accessing the market. As a result of this reform, it is planned to create modern trading conditions and establish a new green zone in the city center.
