It will also be available on the main routes of passenger transportation by ‘Қазақстан темір жолы’,” added Madiyev.
“For the first time, our citizens will be able to use the internet on board domestic airlines,” he reported.
Madiyev emphasized that the development of digital infrastructure will not only meet the needs of the citizens of Kazakhstan but will also allow the country to strengthen its position as a leader in digital connectivity in the region.
Satellite internet will be available for neighboring countries through gate stations that Starlink has installed in Kazakhstan. For example, traffic for Tajikistan will start this year, while Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan are also in line for connection.
