In Canada, ten people died in a school shooting


A tragedy occurred in the Canadian province of British Columbia: as a result of a shooting at a high school in the city of Tumbler Ridge, ten people were killed, including the shooter himself. The incident took place on February 11. According to local police, 25 people were injured, and two of them are in critical condition.

Of the six bodies found, three were discovered within the educational institution, and one person died en route to the hospital. Additionally, two other bodies were found at a location connected to the incident. The shooter reportedly took his own life.

The police have not yet provided information about the shooter's identity

Canadian media initially reported that the attacker was a woman, but the police did not confirm this information, although they stated that they know who he is.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney expressed his condolences on social media, stating that he is "devastated" by the tragedy. He added: "My thoughts and deepest condolences are with the families and friends who lost their loved ones as a result of this terrible act of violence."
