At the second stage, control is carried out at the customs point "Mega Logistic," where samples are taken for laboratory analysis. These samples are sent to the Osh quarantine phytosanitary laboratory. The import of planting material into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic is allowed only after receiving negative results from the laboratory examination, which is confirmed by the issuance of the corresponding phytosanitary document. Additionally, disinfection measures are carried out.
When importing planting material into the Osh region, it is essential to strictly adhere to the following requirements:
- the presence of a special permit from the Department of Agricultural Crop Expertise;
- a phytosanitary certificate issued by the competent authority of the exporting country;
- accompanying documents confirming phytosanitary cleanliness;
- an invoice;
- shipping and transport documents.
The Osh Department of Chemicalization, Protection, and Plant Quarantine emphasizes that compliance with phytosanitary standards is fundamental to protecting the country's agriculture and preventing the spread of quarantine harmful organisms.
