In his new position, Berdikozhoev will be responsible for the activities of the State Guard Service, which ensures the safety of protected persons and facilities in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The State Guard Service is responsible for the implementation of security measures and is under the direction of the president. It is specified that:
– the appointment and dismissal of the chairman of the State Guard Service is carried out by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic;
– the deputies of the chairman are also appointed and dismissed by the President upon the recommendation of the chairman of the State Guard Service.
