According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, at least 20 years must pass from the time of the market entry of trucks and tractors for them to be allowed to freely pass through the "Kamchik" pass. This was reported by the Department of Ground and Water Transport.

The "Kamchik" pass (Kamchiq/Qamchiq), located in the eastern part of the country, is an important section of the international highway Tashkent—Osh (A-373). This road provides the main flow of road transport between the Tashkent region and the Fergana Valley, as well as transit to Kyrgyzstan.

Numerous carriers from Kyrgyzstan, operating routes to Uzbekistan, including the Fergana Valley, as well as transit transportation in the direction of Tashkent—Fergana—Kyrgyzstan, actively use this route. Thus, the new vehicle age restrictions may lead to a ban on the passage of trucks older than 20 years through the "Kamchik" pass.
