According to the new rules, the value-added tax (VAT) for operations related to the supply and import of potatoes and onions produced by agricultural producers within the country is suspended for one year.
This tax benefit will apply to products corresponding to certain commodity codes of the Customs Tariff, by introducing a zero VAT rate for both domestic supplies and imported goods.
It is worth noting that the changes also exclude previously existing provisions regarding tax benefits and the zero VAT rate for certain imported goods.
The resolution will come into effect seven days after its official publication.
