Another deputy, Bakyt Chomoev, also expressed concern regarding the construction of an underground pedestrian crossing on the Bishkek–Kara-Balta road.
He noted that there is a school nearby, and due to the heavy traffic, there are often incidents involving students.
First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Beknazar Bazaraliev reported that the construction of an underground crossing at the 28 km mark of this road section has been included in the title list for the current year, with 10 million soms allocated for financing.
The meeting also discussed the condition of the country's roads and internal roads managed by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, as well as the implementation of ratified laws on the reconstruction and construction of road infrastructure.
