Dismantling is ongoing at an intensified pace
After the acceptance of unit No. 2 on February 10, specialists immediately began dismantling work. This work is carried out daily from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM without breaks. Even despite the celebration of the Chinese New Year on February 16-17, the work did not stop, and the builders continued to work overtime.
On February 16, the dismantling and lifting of the generator rotor were completed. Currently, work is ongoing to disassemble the rotor and stator of the generator.
According to the established schedule:
- The dismantling of the generator should be completed by February 22;
- At the end of February - beginning of March, the start of the turbine dismantling phase is planned;
- The complete finish of all dismantling work on hydro unit No. 2 is expected in early March.
At this moment, there are no delays in the schedule.
In parallel with the dismantling, work is being done to prepare the new equipment. The stator of the new generator for unit No. 2 has already been fully assembled at the installation site and has passed electrical tests, while the rotor of the generator is 50% assembled.
