In the Chui region, the operational and preventive raid called "Bandit" continues, according to reports from the regional police department.
Since February 13, 2026, law enforcement officers have been conducting a raid in the Chui region. Its goal is to improve the crime situation and suppress the activities of organized criminal groups, drug dealers, and extremists. The operation also includes the search for individuals evading justice. Special attention is paid to identifying illegal possession of weapons, ammunition, explosives, and drugs.
As part of this raid, detained individuals are taken to local police departments for preventive talks and necessary checks, including fingerprinting. Citizens are informed about legal norms and the consequences of participating in illegal activities, as well as spreading false information.
During the raid, police officers in the Chui region have solved 53 crimes, including thefts, fraud, cattle rustling, robbery, kidnapping, and hooliganism.
Additionally, 56 individuals registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs as members of organized criminal groups were brought to police departments for preventive talks and clarification of legal requirements.
The raid activities are ongoing. The Chui regional police department is taking all necessary measures to prevent and suppress offenses, as well as to solve crimes.
