The initiator of this draft law was the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The amendments presented in the Protocol aim to eliminate the shortcomings identified in the process of legal enforcement, as well as to clarify the definitions contained in the Treaty on the Union. One of the key points is to empower the Eurasian Economic Commission to approve the methodology related to the qualification of obstacles in the internal market of the EAEU and to recognize barriers and restrictions as eliminated.
