The Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Sultan Akhmatov, presented information on this issue.
The amendments aim to address the shortcomings identified in the process of legal enforcement; to clarify the terms used in the Treaty on the Union; as well as to empower the Eurasian Economic Commission to approve the methodology for assessing barriers in the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Union and to recognize barriers and restrictions as eliminated.
