The purpose of establishing the new point is to enhance road safety and to monitor compliance with weight and dimensional standards for freight vehicles. This will also help prevent premature deterioration of the road surface.
The introduction of the new transport control will contribute to reducing illegal and excessive freight transportation, improving the condition of road infrastructure, and strengthening order in the transport sector.
Additionally, a phased implementation of major repairs for transport control points across the country is planned, where such work has not been carried out for many years.
Funding for the specified construction and repair activities will be provided from the Stabilization Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic.
