Logistics centers are equipped with specialized warehouse facilities where the storage and freezing of products and raw materials intended for processing take place. In addition, packaging, labeling, and certification of agricultural products, as well as their transportation, occur on their premises.
In 2026, the construction of another 75 new processing industry enterprises is planned, among which there will be 8 trade and logistics centers. According to the development strategy until 2030, it is planned to build another 40 such centers in Kyrgyzstan.
The Ministry emphasizes that the creation of trade and logistics centers is aimed at optimizing export-import flows, as well as ensuring effective storage, processing, and distribution of agricultural products.
The process of creating a trade and logistics center consists of several key stages. First, the project's goals are defined, a location is chosen, and a business model is developed. Next, a site plan and the necessary infrastructure are developed, as well as obtaining permits for construction.
During construction, administrative buildings and warehouse complexes are erected, modern equipment and information systems are installed. After the construction is completed, the processes of receiving, storing, and shipping goods are optimized, and electronic documents and digital services for clients are implemented.
Special attention is paid to the selection and training of personnel, the creation of motivational mechanisms, and a system of key performance indicators (KPI). Connections with transport companies and retail networks are established, and cooperation with government agencies is strengthened.
After the construction is completed, the new centers undergo test operation, during which their efficiency is assessed. In the future, it is planned to expand the range of services offered and implement innovative technologies, including process automation, e-commerce, and blockchain-based solutions.
