The main objective of the SME-2030 program, as noted by the Ministry of Economy, is to create a clear, accessible, and institutionally protected support system for SMEs, which should contribute to sustainable economic growth, increased employment, enhanced innovation potential, and export development.
The Ministry plans to increase the share of employed individuals in the SME sector from the current 40-45% of the working-age population to 60%, as well as to increase the export of SME products by at least 25%.
According to the National Statistics Committee, in 2024, the volume of exports of goods produced by small and medium-sized enterprises amounted to 1.2 billion dollars.
