At the beginning of his visit, the minister met with employees of the branch of JSC "NESC" - the Issyk-Kul Electric Networks Enterprise, where important issues in the energy sector were discussed. Employees received answers to their inquiries, and the minister instructed to expedite the installation of "smart" meters and take measures to reduce electricity losses.

Additionally, a task was set to create the Kara-Sai Electric Networks subdivision to service the "Bedel" checkpoint, as well as the Oi-Tal subdivision at the Tyup RES for nearby settlements.

The minister also reviewed the project for the construction of a thermal power center in Karakol, which is planned to have a capacity of 120 MW with connection to the electrical networks via the 110/35/10 kV "Przhevalsk" substation. Upon completion of construction, the center will fully supply the city with the necessary electricity.

Additionally, within the framework of the trip, the modernization of the "Dolinka" substation was discussed. According to the project, the old transformers AT1-10 and AT2-16 MVA will be replaced with two new transformers of 40 MVA each, which will allow for the creation of a new substation with a total capacity of 80 MVA.
