The Minister of Energy, Talaybek Ibraev, opened the new 35/10 kV substation "T. Kulatov" and the 35 kV overhead power line "Abshyr - T. Kulatov," located in the village of Kozho-Aryk in the Kulatov rural council, under the jurisdiction of the Osh Electric Networks enterprise.
According to the ministry, this project aims to provide electricity to 1,820 subscribers out of 3,626 connected to 97 transformer substations of the 10 kV "Abshyr" feeder, which stretches 55 km from the 110/35/10 kV "Kök-Jar" substation, utilizing the new 35/10 kV "T. Kulatov" substation.
Additionally, the project is aimed at improving the quality and stability of electricity supply for residents of the villages of Abshyr, Kozho-Aryk, Kosh-Dobo, and Baglan in the Kulatov rural council.
The 35/10 kV substations "Abshyr" and 110/35/10 kV "Kok-Jar" will also be relieved of excess loads, which will reduce technical losses. The 35 kV overhead line "T. Kulatov," 5.6 km long, was built using self-supporting insulated wires (SIP) and connected to the 35 kV line "Kok-Jar - Abshyr."
According to preliminary data, the construction cost of the substation was 15 million soms, and the overhead line was 10 million soms. As a result of the work carried out, the substation was built for 8 million 218.45 thousand soms, and the overhead line for 7 million 197.28 thousand soms.
During the opening, the minister emphasized that the development of energy infrastructure in the regions is an important direction for providing the population with quality and uninterrupted electricity supply, noting that the launch of such facilities increases the reliability of the energy system.
From a technical standpoint, the substation is equipped with a 2.5 MVA 35/10 kV transformer, a 35 kV circuit breaker, and 10 kV switchgear, with three 10 kV feeders directed towards Kosh-Dobo, Kozho-Aryk, and Baglan.
It is worth noting that the initiative to build the 35/10 kV substation "T. Kulatov" was proposed by local residents at the II People's Kurultai, and the facility is now fully operational.
