In connection with the expected frosts, the Ministry of Energy has announced an increase in control over the operation of electrical networks.
According to the information from the ministry, due to the storm warning and forecasts of adverse weather across the country, energy workers are taking additional measures to ensure the stability of energy facilities. In case of emergency situations, a repair reserve has been prepared and operational response schemes have been developed.
Special teams, transport, and specialized equipment have been put on high alert. Continuous monitoring of the current situation is also being carried out. Duty schedules have been established for the relevant services, which operate around the clock.
The drop in air temperature leads to an increase in electricity consumption, which can create significant loads on electrical network equipment.
In this regard, energy workers urge citizens to save electricity and avoid simultaneous use of several high-power electrical appliances.
