- In response to appeals from citizens of the Naryn region, who are facing difficult climatic conditions in high-altitude areas, it has been decided to increase the electricity consumption limits during peak load hours. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

According to the new regulations, the previously established limit has been raised from 189,648 kWh to 264,312 kWh, which has allowed for improved electricity supply and stabilization of the energy supply in the region.

This decision is part of measures aimed at maintaining the resilience of Kyrgyzstan's energy system under maximum loads.

The agency also noted that the presidential representative in the Naryn region, together with district state administrations and territorial divisions, as well as the Ministry of Energy and OJSC "Kyrgyzkomur," is actively working to provide the population with coal.

In addition, joint raids with antimonopoly authorities are being conducted to prevent unjustified price increases for coal. According to the results of inspections, no cases of price inflation were found.

Overall, the price of coal in the Naryn region does not exceed 5,500 soms, and the stock of solid fuel is more than 3,000 tons, of which about 1,500 tons is located at the social fuel bases of OJSC "Kyrgyzkomur."
