
The Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, handed over the keys to a new batch of special vehicles acquired as part of the energy sector modernization program.
According to information from the Ministry of Energy, within the framework of the capital construction and technical renewal plan of JSC "NESC", 17 JAC–T8 vehicles and 8 SHANMON–388H excavator-loaders were purchased. Additionally, as part of the project for modernization and sustainable development of the energy sector, two 45-meter truck-mounted lifts based on KamAZ-43118 and 10 JAC–N56 vehicles were acquired.
As a result, 37 units of specialized equipment were handed over to energy workers, with a total cost of 145.8 million soms.
Kasymaliev emphasized that the development of the energy sector is a key priority for the state. He noted that under the instruction of President Sadyr Japarov, large-scale construction works are being carried out in the sector, the capacities of hydropower plants are being updated, units are being modernized, and the operational lifespan of energy facilities is being extended.
"With each passing year, the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan is strengthening. In recent years, many units of special equipment have been purchased. Today we handed over a new batch, and it should serve for the benefit of the country and its citizens," added the Prime Minister.
It is also reported that in 2025 alone, over 160 units of specialized equipment were acquired for the energy and coal industries.
