- A pilot project for an electronic queue for trucks has been launched at the "Torugart" border crossing, as reported by the press service of the State Customs Service.

On March 10, 2026, the Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service, Kiyalbek Mukashov, familiarized himself with the implementation of the project aimed at modernizing the infrastructure of this border crossing.

“The main goal of the electronic queue system is to organize the movement of freight transport and minimize the occurrence of traffic jams, which previously reached 25 kilometers and created serious problems for the road network and the ecology in the area of Lake Chatyr-Kul. The system includes the preliminary registration of trucks and organizes the order of their passage through the border crossing. Vehicles will wait in the 'Kara-Bulak' zone, from where they will be gradually directed to the border crossing according to the established electronic queue,” the official statement says.
