Kuvanychbek Kongantiev, who was previously a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, has been placed in the detention center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) for two months. This decision was made by the investigating judge of the Lenin district of Bishkek, who granted the prosecution's request for detention.
According to the court ruling, Kongantiev will remain in custody until May 10, 2026, while investigative activities are conducted.
Earlier, the GKNB reported that Kongantiev is suspected of organizing illegal schemes related to land plots, as well as using affiliated persons.
