This year, the department's budget is expected to amount to 851 million 566.9 thousand soms. In comparison, in 2025 it was at the level of 437 million 588.2 thousand soms, indicating an increase of 413 million 978.7 thousand soms.
The reason for such growth, according to Musaev, was the expansion of the title list of facilities. Schools and kindergartens require significant expenditures for repairs, and in 2026, 510 million soms were included in the title list, which is 310 million soms more compared to last year when the figure was 200 million soms.
Additionally, there is an increase in salaries for junior service and technical staff by 10 million 270 thousand soms, as well as an increase in deposits for young teachers by 5.5 million soms.
In 2026, the construction of 32 new schools and the opening of kindergartens are planned, for which 46 million 921 thousand soms have been allocated for their equipment. Funding for the purchase of computers, refrigerators, and other equipment for educational institutions has also been increased.
The coverage of city events will also be expanded: while previously New Year celebrations were held for 1,000 students, this year it is planned to involve 3,000 children. Furthermore, the number of children going on summer vacations will increase from 350 to 700.
