The Minister of Education and the Ambassador of the United Kingdom discussed issues related to the licensing of textbooks for grades 10-12.

On February 18, a meeting took place between the Minister of Education Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva and the British Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Nicholas Bowler. The press service of the ministry published information about this event.
During the conversation, Kendirbaeva thanked the ambassador for his support in obtaining licenses for English language textbooks for senior classes (grades 10-12).
She noted that knowledge of the English language is becoming key for the youth today, as it is the language of business and technology. Mastering this language opens doors to participation in global economic processes and sustainable development.
The ambassador, in turn, confirmed his readiness to continue cooperation with the ministry, including issues related to the licensing of textbooks for senior classes.
The parties also discussed opportunities for joint work in the field of preschool education.
