From May 16 to May 23, 2026, the National Testing (ORT) will take place. Registration for participants will be open from February 17 to April 2. At a press conference at the "Kabar" agency, the director of the Center for Education Assessment and Learning Methods, Chynara Batrakeeva, shared key innovations and information about the registration process.
She noted that starting this year, applicants are required to take the ORT to enroll in vocational educational institutions, both on a grant and contract basis. Changes have also been made to the registration process for testing. Since 2021, registration has been conducted in an online format. Previously, students used special logins and passwords provided by their teachers; however, access to registration is now available through the "E-kündölük" platform.
Graduates from previous years who previously contacted district or city education departments can now register through the "Tündük" system on the center's website after going through the identification procedure. Detailed instructions for this process are available on our website. To ensure registration for some applicants, the old method has also been retained.
Another innovation is the established fee for taking the ORT, which will be 470 soms for the main and subject tests. This amount remains unchanged. In 2024, according to legislation, a test in the state language was introduced at a cost of 200 soms; however, considering inflation, its price has also been increased to 470 soms starting this year. Previously, payment could only be made through certain applications, but now it is available through a single QR code that supports any electronic wallets,” emphasized Batrakeeva.
To successfully register, several conditions must be met:
- have the original passport;
- upload a color photograph that meets established standards;
- pay the registration fee for the ORT using the single QR code;
- graduates from previous years must have a certificate or diploma of secondary education.
“We emphasize that the original passport is required, not its electronic version in the "Tündük" application, as mobile devices are confiscated at the testing sites,” she clarified.
