According to Batrakeeva, over the past three years, the cost of the main test and subject tests was 470 soms, while the test in the state language cost 200 soms.
“Due to inflation and rising service costs, we have revised the registration fee. Starting from 2026 and for the next three years, the cost of the state language test will be increased to 470 soms, while the cost of the main and subject tests will remain unchanged,” she clarified.

She also noted that innovations will be introduced in 2026. Previously, the results of the Unified National Test (UNT) were mandatory for admission to higher educational institutions; however, starting this year, admission to secondary specialized educational institutions based on 11th grade will be possible for both grant and contract places.
The registration process will also change. “Since 2021, online registration for the UNT has been used, which was linked to representatives of district education departments. Applicants had to obtain a login and password from teachers or deputy directors. Now we are transitioning to a new system as technology evolves. Graduates of the 2026 school year will be able to register through the unified system ‘Kundoluk’ (electronic diary), while those who graduated earlier will be able to authorize through ‘Tunduk’,” explained Chynara Batrakeeva.
The method of paying the registration fee will also change — a unified QR code will be introduced, allowing payment from any electronic wallet without the need to visit banks.
“You can register with a passport through the ‘Tunduk’ app on our platform, but to participate in the testing, you must have the original passport. We accept ‘Tunduk’, but during the test, the use of any electronic devices is prohibited. Without the original documents, participants will not be able to take the UNT,” she warned.
- Registration for the UNT started on February 18 and will last until April 2. The test is scheduled to take place from May 16 to May 23.
