Asel Asanbaeva, a teacher at secondary school No. 1 named after G.P. Kudryashov in Orlovka, located in the Kemin district of the Chui region, was surrounded by an atmosphere of respect for the teaching profession from an early age.

Every morning, she was awakened by her father's accordion...

Asel was born in the At-Bashy district of the Naryn region, where many outstanding personalities, such as Kazybek kazalchi, Shailoobek Duyshiev, and Kalyybek Tagaev, were born. She became the fourth child in a family of five. Both parents worked as teachers: her father was a musician, and her mother was a philologist. They met while studying at the Osh Pedagogical Institute, and a few years later, after working at the institute, they moved to her father's village in At-Bashy. Her parents dedicated their lives to teaching, and their hard work became an example for their children. Her father wrote scripts for events, while her mother prepared students for Olympiads and engaged in expressive reading. Her students always showed high results at the national level.

Since childhood, I prepared to become a teacher...

Recalling her childhood, Asel realizes that she was already destined for the teaching profession back then. All her siblings, except for the youngest, chose this path. It was difficult to become a professional like her parents, but they tried. Asel and her older sister chose philology, following in their mother's footsteps.

An unforgettable first lesson...

She began her career as a teacher in her native village. Her first open lesson was memorable for a funny situation: Asel came dressed up, and her mother passed the lesson plan and visual materials through a student. Her colleagues supported her at this start, possibly out of respect for her parents.

Married to a mathematician: the language barrier...

Her husband was born in the Chui region, but his family is from the same village. He won a mathematics Olympiad and studied at a physics and mathematics school in Novosibirsk, after which he continued his studies in Russia. After serving in the army, he worked in that country for a long time. They met when he came to At-Bashy to visit relatives. He lived in Russia for 24 years and did not know the Kyrgyz language, while Asel at that time did not speak Russian (laughs). Despite their different language skills, they found a common language, starting a conversation about football, and although he spoke Russian and she replied in Kyrgyz, fate brought them together. They have a son who is in the 6th grade and jokes that his father's IQ is slightly lower than Einstein's. Now Asel's husband speaks Kyrgyz, while she has started speaking Russian more often, living in the Chui region.

My job is interesting, but it requires great responsibility...

Quoting Ernest Hemingway: "A man is not made to be defeated. He can be destroyed, but not defeated." Asel believes that the teaching profession is a constant struggle for the upbringing of a person. She works at school No. 1 named after G.P. Kudryashov in Orlovka, which is among the 30 innovative schools in Kyrgyzstan. The educational institution continues to develop, and Asel, as the deputy director for educational and upbringing work, strives to stay informed about all innovations in education. Her husband actively supports her in her professional activities. Asel dreams of studying abroad to learn teaching methods in countries like Singapore and Finland. She believes that a teacher must constantly update their knowledge and read a lot to keep up in their profession. Asel's main goal is to instill humanity in her students.
