The opening of the event began with a solemn ceremony, where the rector of the university, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Abdilbayet Mamasidikov, and the dean of the faculty, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Zhumagul Zheentaeva, along with faculty members and students, ceremoniously cut the red ribbon, symbolizing the opening of the renovated assembly hall.
In his welcoming speech, the rector emphasized the importance of creating new conditions for students and congratulated them on the occasion, calling for active study and initiative that meets modern requirements.
Next, the dean of the faculty, Zhumagul Zheentaeva, took the floor, noting that such festivals contribute to expanding socio-economic opportunities for youth and women, highlighting their relevance in modern society.
As part of the festival program, guest lectures were held, discussing important topics such as:
– presentation of the creative digital platform "Open Osh";
– the role of youth in sustainable development and ecotourism;
– the creation of eco-friendly clothing and accessories inspired by Kyrgyz heritage.
Students studying Design presented a fashion exhibition with a collection titled "Selen Style." A handmade crafts fair was also organized, where participants could attend workshops on "dry" felting of wool and creating brooches using the "kurak" method.
The festival became a significant platform, opening up opportunities for students and guests to familiarize themselves with creative projects, ethnodesign, and developments in the field of national crafts, as well as supporting the creative initiatives of youth.
