The festival connects science and technology
Applications for the technological competitions of 2026, held as part of TEKNOFEST — the largest festival of aviation, space, and technology in the world, are now open. This year, the event will take place in Şanlıurfa, a city with a rich cultural heritage and centuries-old history. Participants are offered prizes totaling 75 million Turkish lira and more than 100 million lira in materials to support projects. Applications can be submitted until February 20.
From September 30 to October 4, 2026, at GAP Airport, the festival will unite millions of people, offering them a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of science and technology at the "zero point of history".
TEKNOFEST will once again host the largest technological competitions, including 52 contests and 127 subcategories. The application period will last until February 20.
From historical heritage to innovations of the future: 52 technological competitions at TEKNOFEST in Şanlıurfa!
TEKNOFEST 2026 will feature competitions in various fields of interest to young innovators: rockets, agricultural technologies, unmanned aerial vehicles, "Iron Dome" air defense systems, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and secure satellite communications.
Additionally, for the first time, new categories will be introduced: competitions in electronic warfare, design and operation of autonomous systems, mining technologies, FPV drones, and "Technologies for the Benefit of Humanity". These categories will allow participants to broaden their horizons and gain practical experience.

Since 2018, TEKNOFEST has become a platform for innovations and ideas shaping the future, receiving over 4 million applications. In 2026, thousands of young people — from school students to postgraduates — will be able to participate in competitions, turning their dreams into real projects.
Applications for participation in the technological competitions of TEKNOFEST 2026 in Şanlıurfa are accepted until February 20. Everyone wishing to become architects of the future and pioneers of technology is invited to submit their applications.
The festival is held under the auspices of the T3 Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey, receiving support from leading technology companies, government agencies, media, and universities. TEKNOFEST is preparing to meet technology enthusiasts in Şanlıurfa in 2026.
