As a result of the investigation into the criminal case related to corruption under part 1 of article 336 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, a land area of 11.2 hectares has been returned to state ownership. These actions pertain to the illegal privatization of properties belonging to the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (NAS KR), as reported by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan.

The investigation established that in 1997, the Bishkek City Hall issued resolution No. 107, under which the Institute of Forestry and Nut Growing of NAS KR was granted a land plot of 11.2 hectares for scientific research purposes. However, the land plot was not registered with the relevant authorities, which allowed officials to divide it into parts and sell it.

After the necessary registration procedures were carried out, the plot was returned to the state balance, allowing its use to be aligned with the established purposes.
