5000 teachers and doctors will undergo training on personal data protection in 2026

The State Agency for Personal Data Protection of Kyrgyzstan has announced the conduct of extensive training for specialists in the fields of education and medicine. The Deputy Director of the agency, Kylimbek Madalbekov, shared this information at the National Forum "Data and Security in the Age of Artificial Intelligence."

Madalbekov noted that in 2026, with the support of the European Union, Expertise France, and the Electronic Academy of Management of Estonia, it is planned to train 5,000 workers in these fields in each district center of the country.
The main goal of the training is to enhance the level of protection of personal data for both children and patients, which is particularly important for teachers and doctors.
From 2022 to 2025, the agency has already conducted 74 training events, with 3,842 participants, averaging about 50 participants in each training session.
