
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, the opening of a tennis tournament for young athletes took place, covering age categories up to 12, 14, and 16 years.
At the opening ceremony, Kazybek Moldazhiyev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, was present. He congratulated the young athletes on the start of the tournament and emphasized the importance of such events for the development of sports skills among children and adolescents, as well as for fostering discipline, endurance, and a desire to win.
The competitions are held in three categories: U12 (children born in 2014 and later), U14 (born in 2012 and later), and U16 (born in 2010 and later). Awards, including trophies, certificates, and gifts, will be presented to the winners and runners-up.
The tournament is organized by the Tennis Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the support of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports. The competitions will last until February 1.
