
The Ministry of Labor recorded 1,885 violations of the Labor Code
In 2025, there were 63 cases of worker fatalities at production sites in Kyrgyzstan. This data was provided by the State Labor Inspectorate under the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration.
During their work, 28 inspectors conducted 1,173 inspections, resulting in the discovery of 1,885 violations of the Labor Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the agency, as a result of workplace accidents, 161 people were injured, of which 94 sustained serious injuries, and 63 died. The total amount of imposed fines was 8.838 million soms, of which 6.936 million soms was paid. Additionally, the families of the deceased workers received 111 million soms in compensation.
