Kyrgyz citizens received 256 million soms under mandatory auto liability insurance (OSAGO) policies. This was reported by Marat Pirnazarov, chairman of the Financial Market Regulation and Supervision Service, in an interview on Birinchi Radio.
According to him, the highest number of payouts was related to voluntary types of insurance. In particular, personal insurance accounted for 165 million soms, while property insurance recorded a total payout of 625 million soms.
Additionally, over 28 million soms were paid out under mandatory housing insurance. OSAGO policies, in turn, became the leaders among mandatory types of insurance with payouts totaling 256 million soms.
Marat Pirnazarov emphasized that the population is increasingly recognizing the importance of insurance and its role in protecting the property and social interests of citizens.
