On February 3, 2026, the outstanding lawyer and public figure Bazarkulov Kamelidin Kushubekovich passed away, as reported by the press service of the Supreme Court.

Former Supreme Court Judge Kamelidin Bazarkulov passed away

Kamelidin Kushubekovich, born on March 2, 1957, in the village of Kopure-Bazar in the Talas region, left a significant mark in the legal field.

He received his education at the Kyrgyz National University in the Faculty of Law, completing his studies in 1983. Throughout more than forty years of his career, he worked in law enforcement, the prosecutor's office, and the judicial system. His journey began as an investigator and culminated in the position of judge of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic and deputy chairman of the Bishkek City Court. Additionally, he held important positions in government institutions, was a member of the board of directors of the JSC "Severelektro," and led the legal departments of the State Material Reserves Fund under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Kamelidin Bazarkulov was awarded numerous honors for his achievements, including the badge "For Excellent Service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs," honorary certificates from the Kyrgyz Republic, and the title of "Ardaqtuu Atul" of the Osmonkulov rural district. He held the rank of police lieutenant colonel.
