
The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan has announced a draw that will take place tomorrow, February 5, to determine the order of inclusion of registered candidates for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh for constituency No. 13.
During the event, the allocation of places on the ballot, as well as free airtime on state television channels and print space in state publications, will be carried out.
The draw will take place in the village of Masy, located in the Nooken district of the Jalal-Abad region. On the same day, a memorandum will be signed by the registered candidates regarding their participation in the repeat elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh in the multi-mandate constituency No. 13, which will be held on March 1, 2026.
To organize this process, the CEC, in cooperation with government authorities and local self-government bodies, will appoint a special representative and the chairman of the district election commission, who will carry out the following actions:
- in accordance with part 3 of article 3 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic
“On Commissions for Conducting Elections and Referendums in the Kyrgyz Republic,” the necessary premises, technical equipment, and a lottery machine for the draw will be provided in cooperation with state bodies and local authorities;
- access for public observers and representatives of candidates to participate in the draw will be organized;
- notifications will be sent to the media in advance about the conduct of the draw.
