Confrontation between Joldoshova and Shainazarov. The head of the CEC is not going to sue

Former deputy Zhyldyzkan Joldoshova has once again expressed her opinions regarding Tynchtyk Shainazarov, who holds the position of chairman of the Central Election Commission.

In her view, the CEC chairman's reaction to her previous appeal is offensive and derogatory.

“Since Shainazarov had no arguments, he began to mock me. His phrase about 'paying for a psychiatrist' only confirms his guilt,” noted the former MP.

She also recalled the events of 2005, when an operational officer of the Osh Internal Affairs Department, Bakhaidir Kuliev, and Tynchtyk Shainazarov, the head of the investigative department of the prosecutor's office, were detained while attempting to transport a car with 20 kilograms of drugs.

According to Joldoshova, the criminal case was not concluded due to the support Shainazarov receives from “above.”

The CEC chairman responded that the “facts” presented by the former deputy regarding drugs are not true. “I was not detained; on the contrary, I, together with the Osh Internal Affairs Department and witnesses, uncovered this crime. The dissemination and distortion of facts without knowledge of the real circumstances I consider to be deliberate actions aimed at misleading people,” he emphasized.

Shainazarov also added that Joldoshova's main goal is to provoke him into a lawsuit and create a public spectacle.

“I am confident that if I were to go to court, I would win the case with complete certainty. However, I do not intend to fall for Joldoshova's provocations and stoop to her level by going to court and staging the show she aims for. We worked as deputies together for several years, and I know well what she is capable of,” stated the CEC chairman.

Joldoshova was a candidate for deputy from district No. 8 in the elections held in November. However, the territorial commission annulled the results of two polling stations due to identified violations. This affected the voting results, and Joldoshova did not receive enough votes to be elected to parliament. The CEC announced that the candidate Nurchamal Torobekova is proceeding to the Jogorku Kenesh.

After that, the former deputy claimed that the video of the violations was filmed in another region and has no relation to her district. She also suggested that Shainazarov has connections with Torobekova, which the head of the commission denied.

Joldoshova filed a lawsuit, but the Bishkek Administrative Court dismissed it. She is appealing this decision in the Supreme Court.
