The Chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums, Tynchtyk Shainazarov, commented on the recent statements made by former parliamentary candidate Zhyldyzkan Zholdosheva.

Zholdosheva participated in the early elections held on November 30, 2025, where she ran for constituency No. 8. As a result of the voting, she received the highest number of votes among women — 2,590.

However, the district electoral commission subsequently annulled the voting results at polling stations No. 5249 and No. 5514. Consequently, a new list of deputies was approved, which included Janarbek Akayev, Ulan Primov, and Nurzhamal Torobekova.

Zholdosheva expressed her dissatisfaction with the decision of the CEC and claimed that the annulment of votes was related to a video that, according to her, recorded vote-buying in constituency No. 27 in Issyk-Kul.

On January 15, she sent an open letter to President Sadyr Japarov and the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, urging them to take action against the head of the CEC.

In addition, in her address, she recalled the conflict among deputies that occurred on April 1, 2011, in the Jogorku Kenesh, which ended in a fight in the corridor. Zholdosheva claimed that Shainazarov was involved in this incident, stating that he "bragged" about having "broken Japarov's nose and mouth, and also injured his forehead with a ring."

Zholdosheva also referred to information from journalist Turat Akim, claiming that Shainazarov was allegedly detained with 20 kg of drugs.

In conclusion of her statement, she again characterized the decision to annul the voting results as "illegal."

In response, the CEC press service published Shainazarov's comments, in which he rejected all accusations. "I was extremely upset by Zholdosheva's words that I allegedly beat President Sadyr Japarov in the past and continue to brag about it. This is absolute nonsense, slander, and manipulation.
As for the 20 kilograms of heroin, I don't even want to comment on that — such a thought could only come to a person with mental disorders. If Zhyldyzkan Zholdosheva wishes, I am ready to pay for her treatment with a psychiatrist to help improve her mental state," Shainazarov stated.
