Among the applicants are 61-year-old Akylbek Arstanbekov, 54-year-old Erkinbek Mamataev, 56-year-old Ulanbek Asanov, and 60-year-old Baktybek Asamudinov.
The CEC clarified that the acceptance of applications from candidates will be completed on January 28 at 18:00.
Repeat elections in this district are scheduled for March 1. The start of the campaigning period is set for February 9, and its end is on February 28.
A total of 18.5 million soms will be allocated from the republican budget for the conduct of the elections.
Early elections to the Jogorku Kenesh took place on November 30, 2025, but the voting results for this district were declared invalid by the CEC on December 3. This decision was made because cameras were installed at 35 polling stations to monitor the voting process, while campaigners could observe how voters were casting their ballots.
