He is accused of ties to an organized crime group
Kudret Taychabarov, the former director of the Bishkek Free Economic Zone, will remain in custody until February 8, 2026. This was reported by his lawyer, Pamira Suranbaeva.
The decision to extend the detention was made by the Pervomaisky District Court.
It is worth noting that Taychabarov was detained on suspicion of connections with an organized crime group. Previously, the Central Election Commission denied him registration as a candidate for the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh, after which he addressed the public through social media.
