Repeat Elections in District No. 13. Who Has Already Submitted Documents to Participate

The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan has begun accepting applications from candidates wishing to participate in the repeat elections in district No. 13, which will take place on March 1, 2026.

The first to submit documents was Akylbek Sovetbekovich Arstanbekov, who will run as an independent candidate. Currently, the list of candidates looks as follows:

We remind you that on December 3, the Central Election Commission reviewed cases of violations in district No. 13, where 94 polling stations were organized. A total of 160,340 voters reside in the district. In the previous early elections, 14 candidates for deputies were registered. During the inspection, it was found that representatives of some candidates, who were appointed as observers at 35 polling stations, illegally installed cameras to monitor voters on election day, which violates the principle of the secrecy of voting. As a result, the CEC canceled the registration of all 14 candidates who participated in the elections.
