The Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic announced that 16 media outlets have been accredited to participate in the pre-election campaigning for the repeat elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh in the multi-mandate district No. 13.

Among the accredited resources are one print publication, nine television channels, three radio stations, and three online publications.

As reported by the CEC, information about the prices for airtime, print space, and the rules for placing campaign materials will be posted on the official website of the commission.

All accredited media are required to comply with the legal requirements and ensure objectivity and accuracy in their publications about the candidates.

The start of the pre-election campaigning is scheduled for February 9, and it will end on February 28 at 8:00 AM. The date for the repeat elections is set for March 1, 2026.

It should be noted that after the early elections of deputies held on November 30, 2025, the CEC declared the results for multi-mandate district No. 13 invalid. The reason was violations related to the installation of surveillance cameras at 35 polling stations, which undermined the principle of secret voting.
