Musicians will perform at the opening ceremony of the Games in Bishkek
The musical trio Ay Yola from Bashkortostan has been appointed ambassadors of the VI World Nomad Games, taking on the task of conveying the spirit of nomadic civilization to a global audience. Their unique style combines live performances on traditional instruments with modern electronic rhythms. This initiative aims to make the heritage of ancestors accessible to the youth, who actively use TikTok and streaming platforms, as reported by the event's secretariat.
The choice of the Ay Yola group also highlights the growing popularity of ethno-futurism, which will be a key element of the upcoming Games in Kyrgyzstan. The group's creative inspiration is drawn from the epic "Ural-Batyr," which perfectly aligns with the concept of the event that unites the sports and cultural traditions of 100 nations. They will be assisted by the outstanding athlete Aisuluu Tynybekova, who has also become the face of the Games.
It is important to note that the opening ceremony of the World Games will take place in Bishkek, while the competitions and the closing of the event will be held in the picturesque Issyk-Kul region. More than a hundred countries are expected to participate in the Games.
