New Police Buildings Opened in the Ak-Su District

In the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region, in the villages of Soviet and Ak-Suu, a ceremonial opening of new buildings for two territorial police stations took place on February 5.

According to the local internal affairs department, the facilities were built with the support of President Sadyr Japarov and at the initiative of Minister of Internal Affairs Ulan Niyazbekov.

The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, Murat Boronov, the district prosecutor, representatives of local authorities, village elders, veterans of the internal affairs bodies, and residents.

These stations became the 13th and 14th police buildings in the Issyk-Kul region. The region also plans to construct about 40 new police buildings, with five more expected in the near future.

The head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region noted that efforts to strengthen the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies are ongoing throughout the country.

The Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region added that the new buildings have all the necessary conditions for the service of police officers. There are also designated residential quarters for staff and facilities for quality service to citizens and maintaining public order.
