According to Junushalieva, the condition of the elevators leaves much to be desired, the wards are not heated, and the windows and doors are in urgent need of repair.
She noted that every year about 15,000 patients undergo rehabilitation in Vorontsovka. “This is a unique institution where highly qualified specialists work. It is extremely important that the conditions for work and treatment meet modern standards,” emphasized the deputy.
Gulsunkan Junushalieva called on the Minister of Health to visit the institution and familiarize himself with the existing problems. Earlier, committee members recommended that the ministry take measures to improve the institute's equipment with modern technology, carry out necessary repairs, enhance the quality of services provided, and increase staff salaries.
The building of this medical facility was constructed in 1984, and since then, no major repairs have been conducted.
