The director of the institute, Daniyar Kaskeev, reported that the building was constructed in 1984 and has not undergone major repairs since then. Nevertheless, the institution continues to operate and serves about 13,000 patients from various parts of the country each year.
Gulnara Baatyrova, a member of parliament, emphasized the importance of the institute for society and the need to create comfortable conditions for patients. She noted that special attention should be paid to the issue of free treatment for heroic mothers and highlighted the need for equipping the institute with ambulances.
Gulkan Moldobekova, also a member of parliament, expressed the opinion that the funding allocated for food is insufficient and called for its increase. Additionally, she pointed out the problem of providing housing for medical workers.
Toktobubu Ashymbaeva, a member of parliament, emphasized that this institute is a leading scientific and medical center in the field of balneology and rehabilitation. She drew attention to the necessity of creating convenient conditions for patients and improving the quality of treatment, especially for people with disabilities and children.
Committee members recommended taking measures to modernize the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Resortology and Rehabilitation, including the purchase of modern medical equipment, conducting major repairs, improving the quality of medical services, and increasing salaries for staff.
