At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 14, Deputy Gulnara Baatyrova drew attention to healthcare issues affecting several localities in the Osh region.

She noted that a new polyclinic building had been constructed in the village of Myrzaka in the Uzgen district, which operates within a group of family doctors. However, according to Baatyrova, it is located on the outskirts of the village, creating difficulties for both residents and medical staff in terms of access to the facility.

“There is no public transport to that location. It is difficult for both patients and doctors to reach the polyclinic,” the deputy emphasized.

Gulnara Baatyrova also reminded that the previous polyclinic was located in the center of the village and was more accessible to the population.

Additionally, she suggested that the Ministry of Health explore the possibility of opening procedural rooms, pointing out that this is an issue not only for the Uzgen and Kara-Kuldzhin districts but for the entire republic as a whole.

The deputy also reported receiving complaints about a shortage of medications in medical institutions. She noted that according to established norms, each healthcare organization should have a stock of medicines for at least three months, yet patients often have to purchase medications out of their own pockets.
